The 5th International Children’s Singing Festival Brežice, together with our singers and their angelic voices, has come to an end, so we are proud to announce the winners of the festival. Congratulations to all of you who participated!

In the age group from 6 to 9 years were awarded:

Everyone else shares the excellent 4th place at the Brežice 2021 International Children’s Singing Festival. The rehearsal schedule will be sent to the finalists on Sunday morning at the applicant’s email address, in the form of a checklist.

The performances of all of them were wonderful, but the expert jury consisting of Lucija Jelušić, Jožica Zupančič, Dubravka Jelušić and the audience as the fourth member of the jury, had to choose only 13, so we sincerely congratulate everyone!!!

All of you who will come to the International Children’s Singing Festival Brežice from the Croatian direction, we would like to inform you that due to the renovation of the motorway, there is no turnoff for Brežice. After crossing the border crossing with Croatia, you must continue your journey towards Brežice along the old road Bregana – Brežice.

Everyone who comes to Brežice from the direction of Ljubljana will have to return along the old road Brežice – Krško and only join the motorway in Krško.

Upon entry, the organizer of the public event must check the fulfillment of the condition “passed”, “vaccinated” or “tested” in participants and performers over 15 years of age.(https://www.gov.si/teme/koronavirus-sars-cov-2/izvajanje-kulturnih-dejavnosti/).

For this purpose, the organizers of the International Children’s Singing Festival Brežice have ensured that all participants and visitors of the final evening, which will be on August 29, 2021, will have the opportunity to make a Covid-19 test before the rehearsal of the event, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, before entering the courtyard of Brežice Castle.

By 19 June 2021, we had received 84 applications, and on Sunday our international expert jury listened to the auditions of singers from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Albania and Austria. The jury had a really hard time this time, so they decided to choose two more candidates. This means that we will have to reject 32 candidates, as the maximum number of participants is 52.

Whether you are accepted to the Brežice International Children’s Singing Festival 2021 or not, know that the differences in points were so very small that the Jury had to look at recordings of audition performances several times and finally decide on the mathematical calculation of their scores.

You will receive the results of the audition by June 30, 2021.

Dear applicants and all interested parties. At the last minute, we decided to additionally provide an adaptation or cover for the selection of songs for the category of 14 to 17 years. Many parents have confided in us that during the year of the Covid 19 pandemic you did not have the opportunity to record in a music studio, so this year we exceptionally and at the last minute decided to change the conditions of participation for the age group from 14 to 17 by allowing those singers to apply. and singers who don’t have their own song and would like to perform with a cover.

The same applies to all of you who have already registered for the festival, only if you are registered in a group of 14 to 17 years old and would rather perform with a cover than with your own song. In this case, the applicant can find the mail he received immediately after the application and change the content of his application at will.

Given that the organizers decided to make this change at the last minute after talking to the producers, at the same time we are extending the deadline for registration for the festival to June 18, 2021.

The audition remains on June 20, 2021 at 3 p.m., and is conducted for all age groups in order from youngest to oldest. You will receive the link for the audition to the e-mail address of the applicant on Saturday, June 19 in the afternoon.

Dear singers, mentors and parents. Despite the Covid-19 epidemic, we are optimistic about the organization of the International Children’s Singing Festival Brežice 2021. Auditions of the festival are on 20.06.2021 and this time they will be conducted remotely via the Google Meet application, and your applications are accepted until 13.06.2021.

The festival will be performed live on large stages with professional lighting, top-notch sound system and an audience. The two semi-finals will take place at the Brežice Youth Center, and the grand final will take place in the fairy-tale castle courtyard of Brežice Castle.
