Dear parents, singers,
We look forward to your participation in the semi-finals of the 8th Brežice International Children’s Singing Festival, which will be held in two parts. On Friday, August 23, 2024, the first part of the semifinals will take place in the Brežice Youth Center, and on Saturday, August 24, 2024, also in the Brežice Youth Center, the second part of the semifinals of our festival. To make it easier for you to come to the festival and ensure smooth rehearsals without unnecessary stress, we give you some tips.
Parking:
The address for both parts of the semi-final selection of the 8th Brežice International Children’s Singing Festival is the Mladinski center Brežice, Gubčeva ulica 10a, 8250 Brežice. The parking space in front of the hall of the Brežice Youth Center can fill up quickly, so please park in the parking space nearby. Pay attention to the timing of your rehearsals:
In the past weeks, all registrants have received a control sheet showing the exact hour and minute of your rehearsals. If your check-in sheet says that you have a rehearsal at 2:13 p.m., that means you enter the hall at least 10 minutes early, sit in an empty seat and wait for your name and surname to be called. After the rehearsal, you are free until 17:45, when the performers have to go to their dressing rooms and wait for their performance. Each year, the order of rehearsals is from the oldest to the youngest, in order to shorten the waiting time for the youngest. For the same reason, the order of performance in the semi-finals is sorted from the youngest to the oldest singers.
Signing GDPR consents:
Applicants must be present at the rehearsals, as during the rehearsal you will sign GDPR consents, which are a condition for participation in the Brežice International Children’s Singing Festival.
