After the auditions in neighboring Croatia (Cultural Center Klanjec), which took place on June 2, 2024, and after the auditions in Slovenia (Dom kulture Brežice), which took place on June 9, 2024, extensive online auditions are coming, of which there are an inappropriate number this year like previous years.
The Brežice International Children’s Singing Festival recorded a record number of applications (141), from a record number of countries (11). The international jury is currently evaluating all online applications, so we will announce the results of this year’s auditions on Friday, June 21, 2024.
Applicants will receive the results privately to the applicant’s email address, which they used when applying. 48, up to a maximum of 52, semi-finalists of the 8th Brežice International Children’s Singing Festival will be selected, who will be divided into two semi-final evenings.
After classification in the semi-finals, each applicant will receive a Control Sheet, on which it will be written when the registered candidate has rehearsals and in which part of the semi-finals he will perform.
