Organized by Partitura d.o.o. and its partners ZPTM Bre\u017eice, the Posavje Museum Bre\u017eice, the Municipality of Bre\u017eice, and the Society for the Development and Preservation of Music Bre\u017eice, August will mark the jubilee 10th International Children&#8217;s Singing Festival Bre\u017eice.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year&#8217;s milestone anniversary brings outstanding international competition and a significant update regarding the venues. The stage will welcome&nbsp;<strong>67 young performers<\/strong>, aged&nbsp;<strong>from 5 to 17 inclusive<\/strong>, representing&nbsp;<strong>7 different countries<\/strong>. The festival thus reaffirms its reputation as a premier launching pad for young talents in the region, with last year&#8217;s winner, Ameli Dinarina-\u0160imi\u0107, proudly featured on this year&#8217;s official poster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Update: Semi-Finals at a New Venue<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year, the organizers are introducing an important change to provide the young singers with an even more professional stage experience. Unlike in previous years, when the semi-finals were hosted by the Bre\u017eice Youth Center (Mladinski center Bre\u017eice),&nbsp;<strong>both semi-final evenings will now take place at the Bre\u017eice Culture House<\/strong>&nbsp;(Dom kulture Bre\u017eice, Trg Jo\u017eeta Topori\u0161i\u010da 3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The schedule spans over three days:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Semi-final, Part 1:<\/strong>\u00a0Friday, August 21, 2026, at 17:00 (Dom kulture Bre\u017eice) \u2013 featuring the first 32 singers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Semi-final, Part 2:<\/strong>\u00a0Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 17:00 (Dom kulture Bre\u017eice) \u2013 featuring the remaining 32 singers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Grand Finale &amp; TV Show Recording:<\/strong>\u00a0Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 19:00 (Bre\u017eice Castle \u2013 PMB, Cesta prvih borcev 1).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All three festival evenings will be gracefully guided by the exceptional host and moderator,&nbsp;<strong>Anja Urek<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">International Jury of Renowned Experts and a Special Surprise<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The performances of these young talents will be evaluated by an expert jury, whose lineup highlights the international character of the project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Danielle Zuber<\/strong>\u00a0(Switzerland),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lado Le\u0161<\/strong>\u00a0(Serbia),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Jo\u017eica \u017dupan<\/strong>\u00a0(Slovenia), and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Alen Jelu\u0161i\u0107<\/strong>\u00a0(Croatia).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The top contestants from the semi-finals will advance to Sunday\u2019s grand spectacle in the castle courtyard. This final evening will also be recorded for a television broadcast, offering the young vocalists invaluable experience in front of the cameras.
